Where do I find/save my Maple license file?

Standalone Maple

Your Maple license file is saved to your computer's Maple <maple>/license folder as license.dat. Please note that if your operating system won't let you save a license file in the license folder, you can first save the file to your Desktop folder, and then drag-and-drop it into the license folder.

For standalone installations and network client license files, the default location for each operating system is:

Windows (32-bit Maple and OS, or 64-bit Maple and OS):
C:\Program Files\Maple 2017\license\license.dat

Windows (32-bit Maple and 64-bit OS):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Maple 2017\license\license.dat
Macintosh:
//Library/Frameworks/Maple.framework/Versions/2017/license/license.dat
Linux:
//home/$USER/maple2017/license/license.dat

Maple Network Tools

For a network setup, the default location of the Maple2017.lic server license file is:

Windows (32-bit Maple and OS, or 64-bit Maple and OS):
C:\Program Files\Maple Network Tools\activate\Maple2017.lic
Windows (32-bit Maple and 64-bit OS):
